Fleece: 100% virgin wool fleece contacts horse for superior feel and comfort. Thick orthopedic fleece center absorbs shock and disperses pressure. Closed-cell foam shim is wedge-shaped to alleviate saddle fit issues. Contoured to fit the horse’s shape more closely. Alleviates “downhill” saddle fit due to atrophy or conformation issues at the withers. Adjustable correction; slide forward for less, slide back for more.
Felt: Supports the front of the saddle from collapsing in the area behind the shoulder as a result of muscle loss, ill saddle fit, or conformation. Strategic wedge placement fills in the void area, offering extra support. Works well for very high withers or older horses with a diminishing topline. 7/8” quality wool blend offers superior shock absorption and protection. Contoured design molds to conform to your horse’s back for added comfort and improved saddle fit. Cut out over withers for greater gullet clearance and spine relief.
